Vivendi has set a $9.6 billion target for Vodafone’s minority stake in France’s second-largest mobile phone operator, SFR, Financial Times reports. Vivendi, which seeks full ownership of SFR, is expected to be a likely acquirer of Vodafone’s 44% stake, which is valued by analysts at $10.76 billion.
In case the deal is signed, SFR’s enterprise value will be $29 billion. Vivendi owns the remaining 66% stake in SFR.
