Quantum Mutual Fund, India’s first dedicated, direct-to-investor mutual fund, plans to roll out an open-ended fund of funds scheme, the Quantum Multi Asset Fund, India Infoline reports. The fund will aim to generate moderate capital growth while attempting to cut risk through diversification. The vehicle will invest in equity, debt / money markets and gold funds of Quantum.
The scheme will be run by fund manager Chirag Mehta and associate fund manager Nilesh Shetty. The fund will use the Crisil Liquid Fund Index, Sensex Total Return Index and the domestic price of gold as benchmarks.
