Latin American buy-side firms have yet to make significant changes to their research spending arrangements even as the global industry shifts in response to new regulations, as revealed in Institutional Investor’s 2018 Latin America Research Team survey.

Over 1,000 representatives of 518 institutions that collectively manage an estimated $320 billion in Latin American equities and approximately $414 billion in Latin American debt participated in the survey.
