Knight Capital Europe Reports £10M Loss

Knight Capital Europe has reported its operating results for the last year ending December 31, 2010.

Knight Capital Europe has reported its operating results for the last year ending December 31, 2010, Financial News reports. The European arm of U.S. broker, Knight Capital, recorded post-tax losses of £10 million for last year, compared with profits of £5 million in 2009.

The figures also included a £9 million loss suffered by the group’s Hong Kong unit, Knight Capital Asia, whose results are included within the European business. The European unit’s brokers trade on over 20 European exchanges and alternative trading venues.
