Icahn’s Investment Fund Plunges Deeper Into the Red

Carl Icahn’s internal hedge fund posted another quarterly loss.

The investment portfolio reported a 4.4 percent decline in the third quarter, extending its loss for the year to 13.3 percent through September, according to a regulatory filing made by Icahn Enterprises Holdings.

Icahn Enterprises is a publicly traded holding company for seven businesses — investment, energy, automotive, food packaging, real estate, home fashion, and pharmaceuticals.
