Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has appointed Christiane Schuster as a managing director and head of sales and trading for non-investment-grade credit, also called high-yield bonds, Globe and Mail reports. The bank has also named Steven Chapman as a director and high-yield analyst. Previously, Shuster was a managing partner at MF Global and handled high-yield, distressed and leveraged loans portfolio. She has also worked with Lehman Brothers and Chase Manhattan Bank. Chapman was formerly high-yield research head and loan research head at AXA Investment Managers, Royal Bank of Scotland and MF Global.
