The sales revenue of the European Energy Exchange (EEX) rose 6% to €24 million in the first six months of 2011. EEX’s sales revenue was €22.6 million during the same period last year. The company’s earnings before taxes were €11.1 million as opposed to €11.5 million for the same period in 2010. Sales revenue from clearing cooperations amounted to €5.4 million against €4.2 million generated last year.
