German State Picks Six Managers For PF

Six asset managers have been chosen by the German state of Saxony-Anhalt for its pension fund for civil servants.

Six asset managers have been chosen by the German state of Saxony-Anhalt for its pension fund for civil servants, IPE reports. The fund, which so far has collected €207 million, will start additional funding again from next year. Universal Investment has been selected as overall investment company and France-based Amundi as manager of government bonds. Nord LB Capital Management was selected for the corporates mandate and EMCore for convertibles. The equity mandate was divided between DB Advisors and Berenberg Bank. Additionally, BNP Paribas Security Services was picked up as global custodian.
