Vodafone Ghana Gets $115M IFC Loan

Vodafone Ghana has secured a $115 million loan from World Bank’s International Finance Corporation.

Vodafone Ghana has secured a $115 million loan from World Bank’s International Finance Corporation, Reuters reports. The deal will help in the development of telecommunications network services in Ghana, adds WorldStage. The package consists of $82 million in syndicated loans from the Export-Import Bank of China, China Development Bank and Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft. Barclays, Ecobank, Rand Merchant Bank and Standard Bank will provide the remaining $33 million loan.
