Hudong.com, China’s encyclopedia website, has secured $15.64 million in its third round of funding, Private Equity Hub reports. The funding was provided by investors, including Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
The company will utilize the financing to boost its commercialization process and expand its foothold in the mobile Internet sector. In 2006 and 2009, Hudong.com received investment from institutions, such as U.S. venture fund Draper Fisher Jurvetson, with total financing of $30 million.
