Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System has appointed Urdang Capital Management, Pensions & Investments reports. The U.S. real estate firm will manage $150 million in domestic publicly traded REITs.
The funding for the mandate will come from cash. The $22.27 billion system’s general investment consultant, Wilshire Associates, assisted in the selection. The search was launched in December.
