The IFRS Foundation has appointed Dick Sluimers as a trustee of the foundation. His initial term at the foundation, the oversight body of the International Accounting Standards Board, is beginning with immediate effect and will expire on Dec. 31, 2013.
Sluimers is also keeping its current position of CEO of APG Group, the Dutch-based provider of asset management, administration and communication services for pension funds. Before joining APG, he was Chairman and CEO of the ABP pension fund.
