A former portfolio manager at Brevan Howard Asset Management, Frederic Denjoy, is planning to start his own hedge fund, Financial News reports. Denjoy Capital Partners will be based in London and is expected to launch a long/short equities fund on May 1, 2011. The fund will have a strategy to focus on Europe with some international exposure. Raza Khan has been named COO of Denjoy, while Jenny Ponsonby is the risk officer, both joining from the long/short European equities house, Powe Capital Management.
