The NASDAQ OMX Group and CRD Analytics have made changes to the NASDAQ OMX CRD Global Sustainability Index. Seven new stocks, including AngloGold Ashanti, Campbell Soup, Goldcorp and Coca-Cola, have been included in the index.
The index consists of companies that disclose their carbon footprint, energy usage, water consumption, hazardous and non-hazardous waste and community investing. As a result of the revamp, companies, including Chevron, Duke Energy, PG&E and Rockwell Automation, have removed from the index.
