NASDAQ OMX is seeking to roll out four new indexes that focus on the water industry, Index Universe reports. The new indexes, which will be listed on July 27, include the Nasdaq OMX Global Water Index and the Nasdaq OMX U.S. Water Total Return Index.
The exchange company already offers the Nasdaq Water Index and the Nasdaq Water Total Return Index under its family of green strategies. In total, NASDAQ will have six water-related indexes, three of them are price return and the remaining are total return indexes.
