Khazanah Hospital Arm Eyes Turkish Chain

A unit of Malaysian sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional is considering acquiring a stake in Turkey’s largest hospital chain Acibadem Saglik Hizmetleri & Ticaret.

A unit of Malaysian sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional is considering acquiring a stake in Turkey’s largest hospital chain Acibadem Saglik Hizmetleri & Ticaret (ACIBD), Bloomberg reports.

The Malaysian fund is bidding through its hospital unit Integrated Healthcare Holdings. As part of the deal, Acibadem’s co-owner Abraaj Capital appointed Goldman Sachs Group and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in June to study options for the stake.
