Singaporean cartoonist Heng Kim Song takes a tongue-in-cheek approach to China’s slowing economy.

Heng Kim Song has been an editorial cartoonist at Lianhe Zaobao, the largest Chinese daily in Singapore, since 1984. His work, which often takes a tongue-in-cheek look at current events and international public figures, is also regularly published in the The New York Times and the South China Morning Post. He has won accolades for his cartoons including First Prize in the United Nations ESCAP’s Cartoon Competition and the Grafica Internazionale Award presented by the International Festival of Political Satire in Italy.
