Valiant Bets on Big Changes in the Global Economy

The Tiger Grandcub singled out two industries that should benefit from higher inflation and higher interest rates.

In an effort to adjust to what it believes are longer-term shifts in the global economy, Valiant Capital Partners has identified two industries that it feels will become big beneficiaries of these changes.

A combination of demographic changes, a move to more onshoring, and a lack of investment in base commodities is creating “compelling long opportunities in overlooked sectors,” Valiant founder Chris Hansen said in his fourth-quarter client letter, which was seen by Institutional Investor.
