Move over, SPACs — hedge funds are increasingly reaping the benefits of successful health care company debuts.

SPACs may be grabbing the IPO spotlight these days, but fledgling health care companies continue to be among the most popular sectors to go public this year — and hedge funds are among the largest investors in many of these companies.

That’s because these funds made significant investments in these companies when they were still private.
