Is this any time to run an activist fight?

The folks at Tiger Cub Impala Asset Management seem to think so. The firm has launched its first ever proxy battle, with motorcycle giant Harley-Davidson.

Earlier this week, Robert Bishop’s Impala confirmed in a regulatory filing it is nominating two directors to the company’s board of directors

Impala, which first privately presented its views to the board in late January via a letter, had hoped to lie low and work something out with the company behind the scenes.
