Landesbank Gives $380M Loan For NY Office

Landesbank has provided $380 million of financing for Chelsea Market, an office and retail complex in Manhattan.

Landesbank has provided $380 million of financing for Chelsea Market, an office and retail complex in Manhattan, Commercial Real Estate reports. The financing retires $158 million of debt comprising two equal-sized loans securitized through Wachovia Bank Commercial Mortgage Trust. The deal was arranged by CB Richard Ellis’ capital-markets group. The financing follows Jamestown Properties’ buyout of its partners Angelo Gordon & Company, Belvedere Capital and Irwin Cohen, for $225 million.
