Shamrock Capital Advisors, which invests in media, entertainment and communications, has raised $400 million for its third fund, Private Equity Hub reports. The Shamrock Capital Growth Fund III will seek buyout and growth capital investments in companies in the media, entertainment and communications industries.
The fund will invest in companies looking for $15-75 million of capital in both control and non-control transactions. In conjunction with the fund raising, Michael LaSalle and Andy Howard have become partners of the private equity firm.
