Klabin
São Paulo-based Klabin makes and recycles paper for export and sale domestically. Founded in 1899, the company gets its raw material from planting and managing its own pine and eucalyptus forests, of which 40 percent is reserved as native woodlands. In addition to meeting the needs of its paper mills, Klabin’s forestry business also supplies pine and eucalyptus logs to other companies for use in furniture manufacturing, civil construction and sawmills.
