First New York Securities has appointed Steven Heinemann as vice chairman. The multi-strategy trading firm has also named Brian Tierney as chief administrative officer and Seth Platt as managing director of corporate strategy and business development.
Attorneys Lauren Friedman and Matt Menewal have also joined the legal team at the firm. The company has formed a Trader Management Committee designed to oversee trading operations and manage the firm’s risk.
