Threadneedle fund manager, Simon Brazier, has been appointed as head of U.K. equities, Citywire reports. Prior to the promotion, Brazier was co-managing the U.K. equity team alongside head of equities, Leigh Harrison.
Brazier will continue to supervise the Threadneedle U.K. fund, which he started managing last April. Harrison will retain his post of overall head of equities at the firm and remain in charge of the U.K. Equity Income franchise, which includes the U.K. Equity Income and U.K. Equity Alpha Income funds.
