Ospraie on the Make

Call it the great Ospraie talent heist: Dwight Anderson may have sold 20 percent of his business, Ospraie Management, to Lehman Brothers for an estimated $80 million in April, but he isn’t going to sit around counting his cash. Instead, come July 1 he plans to announce a major expansion: Ospraie, he reports, has signed five new manager teams, including senior proprietary traders from Caxton Associates, Dreyfus Corp.
