Sloane Robinson Seeks to Reverse Woes

The London-based firm reports some monthly and quarterly gains but recovery may be a long haul.

Sloane Robinson, one of London’s oldest hedge fund firms, is slowly digging out of the red.

In January two SR Global fund portfolios were among the world’s top performers. Its SR Global-Japan fund jumped 15.5 percent, after advancing more than 27 percent in the fourth quarter of 2012.
