Canada’s central diamond exchange Diamond Bourse of Canada (DBC) has set up a permanent liaison office within the Shanghai Diamond Exchange (SDE) facility. The Shanghai bourse is China’s primary diamond gateway.
Canada is the third-largest producer of diamonds by value. A permanent presence in China will help tap its market potential for Canadian polished diamonds.
