Claymore Silver Fund Eyes Hedged Trust Units

The Claymore Silver Bullion Trust is seeking to offer hedged trust units. The units from Claymore Investments will provide exposure to physical silver bullion with the U.S. dollar currency exposure hedged back to the Canadian dollar. The fund will follow the performance of the price of silver bullion, less its expenses and fees.

The proceeds will be used to buy and hold additional physical silver bullion. The offering is being made through a syndicate of investment dealers, such as BMO Nesbitt Burns, National Bank Financial and HSBC Securities (Canada). GMP Securities, Canaccord Genuity and TD Securities will co-lead the syndicate.
