Man Group has set up standalone commodity trading advisers (CTA) trading operations in Hong Kong by doubling the staff at one of its units, Reuters reports. The alternative investment firm has doubled the number of staff it employs in Hong Kong in its AHL division. The newly added team will provide AHL faster local support for trading and enable further specialization in Asian markets, adds The Asset. With the expanded team of 11 staff, the new trading operation in Hong Kong will cover 49 Asian markets, trading around $4 billion daily.
