BlackRock’s iShares exchange-traded funds (ETFs) attracted $8.9 billion inflows, including flows to commodity ETFs, in April 2011, Reuters reports. Vanguard received $2.8 billion inflows, while State Street collected $4.9 billion in April. BlackRock attracted $4.7 billion in the first quarter of 2011, while Vanguard witnessed $10.4 billion of inflow and State Street $1 billion of outflow. BlackRock had about $498 billion in assets across its U.S.-listed ETFs at the end of April 2011.
