Bank of Montreal Appoints Ex-Bureaucrat

Bank of Montreal appoints Kevin Lynch as vice chairman.

Bank of Montreal (BMO) has appointed Kevin Lynch as vice chairman, The Wall Street Journal reports. In his new role, Lynch will act as a strategic adviser to senior management.

Previously, Lynch was clerk of the Privy Council for the Canadian government, advising Canada’s prime minister on policy, administrative and political matters. He has also been executive director for the Canadian, Irish and Caribbean constituency at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C.
