Univision Communications has raised $315 million in a sale of senior unsecured notes in the 144a private placement market.

Univision Communications has raised $315 million in a sale of senior unsecured notes in the 144a private placement market, Reuters reports. The proceeds of the issuance will be used to finance the repayment of the outstanding 9.75%/10.50% senior paid-in-kind (PIK) toggle notes due 2015. The Spanish-language media company appointed Deutsche Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays, Credit Suisse and Wells Fargo Securities as the joint bookrunning managers for the deal. The notes carry a coupon rate of 8.50% and are due to mature on May 15, 2021.
