Haidar Takes a Big Hit

Here’s a look at how the macro fund stacked up against many of its peers last month.

Said Haidar has gotten off to a rocky start in 2023.

The macro maven, who posted a 192 percent gain in 2022, lost an estimated 13.12 percent in January, according to an e-mail communication with investors. This is consistent with several other high-profile macro funds, many of which are coming off their best, or one of their best, years ever.
