Citadel Leads August’s Multistrat Surge

Most funds in the strategy are up by single-digits for the year.

Citadel’s main funds continued to surge in August.

The hedge fund firm’s main multistrat fund, Wellington, gained 3.74 percent last month and is now up 25.75 percent for the year, according to a person who has seen the results.

As a result, 2022 is shaping up to be the fund’s third straight year of better than 20 percent performance.
