Light Street Capital Management took a giant step forward in October in its desperate attempt to get back to break-even. According to an investor, the long-short fund headed by Tiger Cub Glen Kacher posted a strong 7.6 percent gain last month — thanks in large part to several major portfolio changes it made in the third quarter — and cut its loss for the year to 12.4
