One of this year’s top-performing hedge funds tacked on additional gains in August on the way to what may be its best year ever.

The Haidar Jupiter Fund rose 1.85 percent last month and is now up an estimated 67.54 percent for the year, according to the firm’s monthly communication sent to investors and seen by Institutional Investor.

The fund is now already 14 percentage points ahead of its previous best performance in its 22-year history.
