Lone Pine Slipped in September

Lone Pine Capital suffered a setback in September amid the overall stock market’s wild swings.

Lone Cypress, the Tiger Cub’s long-short fund, lost a little more than 1 percent for the third quarter after falling more than 4 percent in September, according to an investor in the fund.
