Third Point’s Dan Loeb is sharing portfolio management duties for the first time.
The activist hedge fund manager told clients in his second-quarter letter that he has created a co-chief investment officer title and that Munib Islam will serve in that role.
“This title largely recognizes a role that Munib has played for some time in working with me to manage the equity team and investment portfolio while overseeing research activities, talent development, and risk,” Loeb wrote in the letter.
