Canyon Partners has gotten off to a strong start this year — thanks, in part, to its moves to reduce risk last year.
The multistrategy hedge fund firm headed by Mitch Julis and Josh Friedman posted a 6.19 percent gain in its Canyon Value Realization Fund for the first quarter.
