Dan Loeb’s Third Point has hired a Goldman Sachs Group partner to help integrate quantitative research into its investment process, the hedge fund told investors in a note sent out Tuesday morning.
Bob Boroujerdi, who has served as the head of global securities research at Goldman, will join Third Point on September 4 as a managing director.
