Leon Cooperman’s Omega Fund Bounces Back

The long-short and macro fund has posted double-digit gains since the end of the first quarter, when it suffered a loss.

The flagship fund managed by Leon Cooperman’s Omega Advisors rebounded sharply in the second quarter after a sizable loss in the first quarter and has posted double-digit gains since the end of March.

As a result, Omega Overseas Partners, a mostly long-short hedge fund that also runs fixed income and macro books, is now up for the year.
