Wendy Gerbier, a mezzo-soprano from Stamford and the National Anthem Ambassador of Connecticut visited the State Capitol where she sang the Anthem at the opening of both the House and Senate sessions. Ms. Gerbier was selected as the winner in a statewide contest in 2006 and will join other states National Anthem Ambassadors by participating in a Grand Finale in Washington, DC on Flag Day of 2007.
