Henry Swieca, a co-founder of Highbridge Capital Management, is hiring for his latest firm, Talpion. Sweica is looking to hire up to four portfolio managers, and once hired, the managers will be able to choose their own investment management teams. Talpion is running as a family office, but once Sweica has hired more people, he will likely launch a hedge fund, said a person familiar with the firm.
