Alec Baldwin’s star character on hit NBC sitcom 30 Rock joked about attending “John Paulson’s Sweet $16 billion party” in an episode Thursday, apparently a reference to the manger’s real life Metropolitan Club dinner in 2008, which feted his firm’s astounding success amid the financial crisis.
