Naveen Choudary, who was the managing director in charge of technology investing at Shumway Capital Partners, is prepping a global long/short equity fund to invest in technology, media and telecommunications companies. Eastwind Global Partners plans to launch in the fourth quarter and hopes to expand to other industries after an initial focus on TMT.
