SAC Capital Advisors has taken another step toward becoming a family office, Bloomberg reports. The embattled Stamford, Connecticut firm plans to close its London office by the end of the year. More than 50 people reportedly work from that office. SAC also is said to have cut six investment professionals in the U.S.
