Most of the speakers at the Delivering Alpha conference on Wednesday arrived at the Pierre Hotel on Fifth Avenue by taxi or limousine, or even on foot if they lived nearby. But Chris Hohn, founder of The Children’s Investment Fund Management in London, would have been happy to see a Volkswagen parked outside.
