A major investment advisor to wealthy individuals and institutions is recommending clients cut their exposure to hedge funds to Underweight from Neutral.
U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, which serves investors with at least $3 million in assets, made this recommendation change in a 40-page report it distributed in December 2012.
