Trian Partners’ Assets Hit New Peak

The New York firm, co-founded by Nelson Peltz, has been busy waging activist campaigns and putting new money to work.

Trian Partners, one of the fastest-growing hedge funds in the business, is still looking to build its rapidly growing war chest.

As of January 1, 2014, the New York–based activist-oriented firm’s assets stood at a new all-time peak of $8.48 billion, up 70 percent from December 31, 2012, according to its year-end letter to clients, obtained by Alpha.
